Hello, and thanks for stopping by my wordpress blog. My name is Tiffany, I am 31, I live in sunny California with my husband, 2 sons and 5 gorgeous dogs (Vinny, Klaire, Cyra, Dread and Brass). I started this blog to become accountable to my healthy living style. I feel like I have learned a lot about myself and want to continue to share my journey.

I just recently gave birth to my adorable son, Dominic. I am absolutely in love with him. I definitely have some work to do with losing the baby weight. I am on the clean eating train, I sometimes stumble, but really like to eat clean instead of counting calories. I have been following the bikini body mommy work outs on youtube. I am pretty much obsessed! 20 minutes of working out, and great results? Sign me up!

I am a slow runner, but let’s just put this out there. In the next 4 years (2019) I would like to qualify for Boston. I had been thinking of doing an ironman, but let’s be serious! HAHA. All I have to do is plant the seed, and one day I will make it to Boston. I look forward to that day.

My dogs
Wine (either one must be a “good” one)
Just dance for the wii
Running (of course)
Living vicariously through other marathoners by reading their blogs (I’m a little obsessed with this one right now)
Warriors basketball
Giants baseball
Anything on bravo involving housewives
Reality tv junkie

Being late
Over eating
Waking up before 7
Mean douchey people

Me after a 5k, complete with a beer in my hand!

The fam with Brass

And the newest addition!

Great reason to blog. You will run Boston. You become what you think about most of the time;)

    The best is ahead

Be careful what you wish for…that’s how I started out – tagging along with my wife and a couple of our friends. Now I’m having more fun with her toy and she is not pleased.

    • drinkrunyoga says:

Yes I completely agree, fun and rewarding journey. Slow running isn’t always bad, unless you want to PR. Ha! But I see you’re improving, and so am I and in the bigger picture that’s what counts! Keep on running, Cheers!

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. I read you are also doing similar exercises. Looking forward to reading about your milestones and your achievement of your goals. And keeping to it once you have arrived. To good health and well-being!

Thanks, ya it’s in the back of my mind and I’m trying to act like its no big deal. But it’s a huge deal! I tend to psyche myself out, so it will be good if I register way in advance so there’s no turning back πŸ™‚

Trust me, I never would have thought I’d run a marathon. The key for me was setting up weekly goals for mileage with small increases that way I didn’t get freaked out by the big 26.2 looming over me. I’m looking forward to reading more in your blog. Love the drinkrunyoga by the way πŸ™‚

Hi Tiffany… I look forward to following your blog! I’m trying to do more running. It’s been hard for me, but I met a goal last night by hitting 7 minutes πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Wow! I’m well impressed with that weight loss – you ought to be proud as punch about that and achieving your running ambitions too. Keep it up! πŸ™‚

I’m so happy to have found your blog!

I’m a new-ish runner myself (just did my first marathon in January, and I have two very slow half marathons under my belt) and I also love reading about the adventures of other runners. In fact, with the exception of reality shows, your likes and dislikes matches mine exactly!

Good luck on your upcoming races!

An inspirational bio! Exercise helped me lose a lot of weight – and running gives me goals (and keeps down the weight too!). Maybe I’ll add likes and dislikes to my blog soon … I suspect there’s quite a bit of crossover – running, beer, wine.
Thanks for stopping by and liking my blog – look forward to reading more of yours.

Thanks for liking my post- my life in run: treadmill lover. I enjoyed going through your blog. We definitely both like some of the same things. I’m hoping I can do my first marathon this year. Long live the RUN life!

Thanks for liking my post! I think if you really want to run Boston then you’ll do it. Really vivid visions of success and fear of public humiliation have always helped me to achieve my goals πŸ˜‰ Good luck!!

Thanks for the like on my latest post! It’s great to meet you! I am looking forward to spring so that I can start to do more outdoor running! πŸ™‚

Thanks for checking out my blog! It’s nice to connect with other runners who have similar goals. Congrats on your first marathon! Kicks your butt, doesn’t it? I did my first in November. Such a great experience! And read about your 90 lb weight loss with weight watchers – congrats again! Both are super achievements. It’s funny, since I did my marathon, I put on 10 lbs. So easy to put on. ugh. I’m starting the process of getting it back off. And I do WW as well. I found a great app (only $2!) that I can track all my food and activity points with. I’m finding it extremely helpful. And it’s more economical than going to the meetings. Anyway, keep up the most excellent work!

    • drinkrunyoga says:

Yes, a marathon does kick your butt! I learned this firsthand. Sounds like you are on the right track with everything. I did the online WW for 3 months, and I did go to some meetings, but at this point I pretty much know what I need to do. It’s all about being accountable, and tracking. Good luck in reaching your goals! Maybe one day we will see eachother at a race!

    Hi Tiffany

Thanks for the follow and ‘liking’ my posts! Good to see you are pretty focused and like a challenge. How far away are you now from your weight-loss goal? What is the qualifying time for Boston and how far away are you from that?

    • drinkrunyoga says:

You’re welcome! And I’m still about 20 pounds away…but it’s a slow going process at this point. I need to work on avoiding alcohol…
Boston is around 3:25 for a woman. I need to check that and I think this year or next year the rules will change. Boo! Either way it’s a goal and I will definitely stay focused enough to get it done. I am hoping to do a marathon this year to really see where I am at in the bigger picture. At this point I think I need to shave 4-5 minutes off my average mile. Not impossible is how I’m thinking of it…Thanks for stopping by!

Tiffany, I love your blog- you are a huge inspiration for me to force my butt out of bed on those gross, rainy (in this today’s case-hailing) mornings and go for a run and work out. Running a marathon is a goal of mine, so following you is a bit like having a training buddy who I can learn from πŸ™‚

So, for your awesome work and dedication- I wanted to tell you that you’ve been nominated for the Versatile Blogger award! If you’ve never been nominated before, or know nothing about it- check out: http://versatilebloggeraward.wordpress.com

Keep up the great work and I look forward to reading more!

Thanks for the kudos and the encouragement! I think I can…I say it in my head…but it’s crazy in there so, of course, I pass it off as humor. But I think I can totally do it one day πŸ™‚

Good stuff! We definitely have a lot in common! Don’t you love how these blogs bring folks together. I MUST get my health under control. I will follow your blog for inspiration. I’m doing much better when reading labels and looking for hidden sugars and salts. I’m enjoying food for the natural taste and not for what I ‘add’ to it. And i’m trying not be so hard on myself when I indulge in Chick-Fil-A waffle fries!! LOL!
