Yoga and Mudder

I love yoga. Point blank. I haven’t done yoga or more than 2 weeks. I am feeling all misaligned. I needed to check in with my beloved yoga today!

(On the original agenda was a long run, which I am also desperately craving. It didn’t happen this morning, but I have a short run planned for tomorrow)

It was all about stress relief. Honestly I haven’t worked out for 3 whole days. It feels like a really long time. I keep making excuses, and I know why I’m doing this. I have some work drama going on, and I know I just need to get over it.

My yoga practice this morning was completely restorative. I needed to stretch out some kinks. It hit all the right spots, neck, back, and hips. The video is only about 30 minutes long, but it was the perfect length for me for today.

I met a random vendor through work who is also doing the same event on the same day. I tried to switch so that I could join their team. However the current fee is $65 more than what I paid. And I guess you have to pay the current price when changing any registry info. Totally lame right? I think I’m just going to try and piggy back and find them at the event. Maybe run the event with them, but not officially as a team member. I just want to go and have fun. It is exciting that I will at least have some friendly faces there.

    I’ve never done the Tough Mudder but I did the Warrior Dash last October and it was fun. We didn’t have true full on mud until the very end. Then a week later I ran my very first Half. In a two week period I felt invincible! I’m sure you’ll have fun.
