Wow…you’re good. The closest I’ve come to making a goal for 2012 is running the 5k+3 at the Gasparilla Distance Classic and shooting for a Half-Marathon (TBD) by the end of the year.

Hey Tiffany! Thanks for checking out my blog!
I have not signed up yet, but I totally want to do the SF Color Run. I think that looks like so much fun! Let me know if you decide to do it!

  3. Henry Runs says:

Thanks for “liking” my blog and I really enjoy reading yours. These are some awesome goals and I look forward to reading about them as you knock them out!

You crossed off Bay to Breakers? I’m “running” it for the first time (and probably the last) this year, with a friend from Kindergarten. Bummer! I do not think I will find it to be a running event. I do plan on making a race report though with lots of photos….it is a pretty epic event!

    • drinkrunyoga says:

I know how epic it is. I have watched it every year since forever! I have already kinda committed to another mudder…I haven’t registered for either so who knows? Maybe I might do bay to breakers still. I will know more maybe in 2 weeks…

I have enjoyed reading your blog and am impressed with your accomplishments in running and weight loss. We are kindred spirits…we have similar goals and I’ve come to realize it doesn’t matter how fast you go…just that you go. Or as a friend put it, no matter how slow you go you’re still lapping the people sitting on the couch. Keep up the great work!

    • drinkrunyoga says:

So have I! It looks like I might be running it by myself, but I think I have gotten over the fact that I need to have a “buddy” or anything. Maybe I will meet a great friend there at the race.

  6. BagTransformation says:

Thanks for stopping by and liking my post that talked about my goals and determination for this year. Have you checked out the color run that I talked about in my post? If it hasn’t already passed you this year I’d highly recommend you give it a shot. It’s more of a fun run than a competitive run but I think we all need those every now and again. šŸ™‚

    Have a great night!

    • drinkrunyoga says:

I did have the color run on my goals earlier this year (in July in sf) but my work schedule has changed and I know I won’t be able to get that day off. Total bummer I know! I’ll check it out next year for sure šŸ™‚

Tiffany, you have a great blog and I’m enjoying reading through the archives! I’ve been running more this year than the previous 6 combined so it’s good to find this and I like your writing style. It might help me convince my wife to start running too.

Thanks so much, and I know it sounds totally cliche, but I’m cool like that, you inspire me! There I said it. You, and people like you, inspire me to be awesome! So. go be awesome, that way we can both be awesome šŸ˜‰

drinkrunyoga – now I like that! You’ve got some great stuff planned, and sign-upfor Tough Mudder! I’m doin it here in Australia in September, could be a lead-in for the Coast to Coast in New Zealand next year. Love your work and look forward to hearing more!!

      • Dawn H. says:

Oooo sorry to hear that. I hope your recovery goes smoothly and you can get back to running soon!!

      • drinkrunyoga says:

Thanks! I actually put off going to the dr for a few months, and now that I’m going to physical therapy I feel like I’m making real progress. I’m hoping to sign up for something in the fall.
